Every day I'm more embarrassed to be an American.
They slipped online gambling into this bill, the Safe Port Act of 2006. It seems to say that financial transactions to fund a gambling account are now illegal and will be blocked.
I don't even know what to say. This is a disgrace.

my female parental unit agrees with you. the gambling legislation, the sneaky way it was added and passed, it's all unsettling. i'm glad to have my eyes opened though. we all need a dose of that. this is a small indicator of a more pervasive and dangerous problem.
