What? No Three Stooges?
Dogma? Really?
Should have been included:
Caddyshack
Groundhog's Day
Somehow I've never seen all of Caddyshack. Groundhog Day wouldn't make the top 10, but deserves mention.
i am pretty pumped to see spinal tap on there. nice work.
also zoolander and van wilder belong on your list.
Zoolander! I knew I was missing something. Van Wilder was amusing, but not enough to make the list.
yeah clerks was definitely superior to dogma. however, affleck was the bomb in phantoms.
Its amazing that Dogma and Theres something about mary beat out Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Austin Powers and Dumb and Dumber. I suppose the fact that Freddy Got Fingered and Dead Man on Campus are anywhere on that list gives me my answer. POOR TASTE. BAD FORM.
What question does it answer?
Shut up, Erm/anonymous. Your taste in comedies is a cheap knock off, not unlike Oakey sunglasses, Giant Food brand products, and those fake Mini-Coopers.
Zoolander and This is Spinal Tap are way too low. Clerks AND Mallrats were both funnier than Jay and Silent Bob AND Dogma (although I love the Catholic humor in the latter... Catholicism WOW!).
Office Space is too high up there... the new generation of comedic actors (the Wilson brohans, Ferrell, Vaughn, Carrell, and Stiller) blow away the Office Space crew.
I predict Dodgeball and the 40-Year-Old Virgin (which was both funnier and a better movie than Wedding Crashers, which was also great) will crack your list.
I'm so sorry that I have an incredible sense of humor (oh wait, I'm not sorry at all).
Overall, a solid list.
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this, but Elf is one of my favorite comedies. Am I the only one?
