I just finished reading some books, most of which you wouldn't enjoy, but others (esp. girls) might:

Julie and Julia
-super laugh out loud hilarious (esp if you cook)

Chronicles of Narnia
-despite the god-ness

Candyfreak
-someone who loves sugar more than even me

Memoirs of a Geisha
-makes you wish you were sold into slavery as a small child (almost)

The true and outstanding adventures of the Hunt sisters
-pretty amusing, a little slow b/c of format (epistolary i think they call it), lots of crying
