Lady Terps: National Champs!

On the one hand, it is cool that we won a national championship. But on the other hand, women's sports are terrible. I don't have much else to say about it.

I'm pretty sure the idiots in College Park have used this event as an excuse to start yet another riot. (I had to mangle that whole sentence because I don't know if it is spelled "riotting" or "rioting" and neither looks right.) I pretty much hate anyone that is involved in a riot, which means I hate everyone at my alma mater. Awesome.

Wow, good thing you're the judge of what sports are good and what sports aren't good. Otherwise we might be forced to watch stupid women trying to be athletic on TV. Gross, girls!

Are you maybe threatened by the fact that the women's final four games were miles better than the men's games?

If by "miles better" you mean you'd rather watch a bunch of unathletic people who take 20 seconds to run down the court, can't play defense, and shoot worse that men while using a smaller ball, than yeah I guess it is "miles better."

General rule of thumb: I'm not going to watch a sporting event where I'm better at the sport than the people playing.

If the women were very attractive and wearing bikinis I might make excpetions.

adspar will be singing a different tune when he's takin' the kiddies to t-ball.

my money's on anonymous being a bitchy feminist. or fat and ugly. but i guess the 2 aren't mutually exclusive, eh?

The full phrase should have been "I'm not going to watch a nationally televised sporting event where I'm better at the sport than the people playing." But if my son's t-ball team makes it on ESPN, I'll probably watch.
