What's the deal with this guy? I can't find anything on his blog that explains his situation. He's obviously a prolific blog writer, but why doesn't he have a "real job"? I'm just curious.
If you dig through his old posts you'd be able to piece his personal story together, but basically a combination of bad health and unwillingness to compromise on some ethical principles leaves him unable to work and fairly destitute. If I recall, the range of jobs he's held in the past included lawyer, actor, musician, and maybe something else. I think he lives in California with a few cats.
