definitely give updates as you try it out... i'm not too thrilled about the whole DRM purchasing thing, but unlimited blah-blah-blah for 5 bux a month is pretty decent.

yeah i love it. the selection is great, and i spend many hours a day sitting in front of my computer, so even i cant ever burn it or drop it on a portable device, its worth the price of 5 CDs a year to rent over 1,000,000 songs.

I cancelled my subscription after noticing something...questionable. I encountered a (very repeatable) bug that - when I had the software open, every HTTP request I made in any browser returned a 400 (malformed request) error, even though I watched the network transfers and the page HTML packets were being transferred. I suspect the music manager program might be acting as a proxy, or just listening in on port 80 traffic, which means in theory it would have the capability to listen in on your net traffic, whether it actually is doing so or not. It's probably nothing, but it just doesn't smell right to me.
