should i be proud?

You know the Bible 82%!

Wow! You are truly a student of the Bible! Some of the questions were difficult, but they didn't slow you down! You know the books, the characters, the events . . . Very impressive!

I'm betting that the average American non-believer scores higher on that test than the average American Christian, especially if you limit the non-believers to the fire-breathing atheist types. The Bible is basically a gigantic advertisement for atheism.

well, to be fair, the average american would do better if there were more questions about queers getting married or birth control

I got a 77%. I mean, a bunch of those were gimmes, and if it wasn't multiple choice I would've gotten maybe 5 right. It's kind of annoying that i did this well, regardless. Get out of my head!!!

78% - This doesn't surprise me at all, given that a substantial fraction of our high school education (and elementary school, at least in my case) was devoted to just this topic. New Testament questions were a lot easier. It would be interesting to compare scores on this kind of test with measures of authoritarian/conservative political thinking. I bet they are negatively correlated.

I'm sure there is some Sun Tzu or such quote about knowing your enemy that's applicable here.
