Yes, that is falafel. Kira made it. I make everything else, but when she does cook, she goes all out.
Hmm, I guess there was no binding factor -- it looked like you could take a chunk of the whole concoction and it would stay together, like a chunk of hash browns? Although now that I think of it, I don't think hash browns have a binding factor, either (I was thinking something like eggs or cheese to make it all stick together). In any case, it all looks good.
