Plus at some point I read an article or blog post about some of the insane things that Schlussel (one of the idiots in the original panel) has said before, but I can't find it now. It was something crazy about how atheists are just Islamists in disguise.
Anyway, CNN at least did a followup where they acheived much better balance:

Ok I just watched the Dawkins, which was marginally better. But seriously, why do they have to frame it in such inflammatory terms?
And maybe they should try putting an actually smart theist on the panel next time, so they don't give a bad name to everyone who believes in god.
I'm just assuming that there is no audience, thus no ratings, thus no advertising revenue for a polite and intelligent conversation of the matter. 3 minutes with a charming British man who speaks eloquently must be followed by 7 minutes of rants punctuated with idiotic theist interuptions.
